Being from the north part of India, I was always skeptical about my ability to adjust in the south part. Why? It has got nothing to do with the people here, but the food (don't laugh at me for that :P). I feel proud to say that I am a food freak.
When I left my home to study further (somewhere around 8 years back), I was just like every other child - Home Sick. Started my journey with Kanpur, then Indore, then Bangalore, and finally Hyderabad. Bangalore has always been very close to my heart because there are lots and lots of sweet memories attached to the city.
I considered Hyderabad as just another on my list of cities, but it was not like that for long. Hyderabad, the land of Nawabs, exceeded my expectations in all terms.
- Food - I have gained 10 kgs in 14 months, which never happened earlier. Who can forget the yummylicious chicken-chicken everywhere? :)
- Work - I started earning (after completing my education) from this city.
- Friends - Lots of friends from my company, some Auto driver friends, friends from Hyderabad Weekend Shoots (specially Chandrasekhar and Swarat), and few more.
- Life - Life was just the same till I got my SLR.
Though there are many things which I am definitely missing even after having a good life here, but I understand that I cannot have it all together. Initially, Hyderabad was just another city for me, but the new camera changed it all. Going out with some more photography enthusiasts for the shoot every weekend has helped me live my Life.
